Could someone at the club please teach Rowe how to run the ball over the boundry without being to obvious, thats twice in three games he has been pinged for deliberate.
Tonight's was a simply disgraceful decision imo.
Agreed, I thought it was harsh, but he should have learned when they pinged him against WC a couple of weeks ago, dont run straight at the boundry line
Sure, but given the distance to the boundary where the contest took place and the speed at which he was moving, was there any other option?
I have always believed that in that situation, take the ball run just over the line then kick it down field, the umps will never pay it.

I was at the game today. Umpiring from number 11 was absolutely disgraceful. Betts gained confidence after his first 2 goAls. The first was a 50 metre penalty that shouldn't have been and the other resulted from an obvious push in the back free to the Blues that was once again missed by the umpire. Touhey did OK. He do is not fit. Nowhere near what he was last season. Gibbs was very good. Simmo was excellent. Both White and Rowe did very well down back. Both Buckley and Docherty are playing for the jumper.

Jeffy needed a spell, and Im having doubts about whether he is good enough anyway.
Lucas is a ball magnet, but I don't care. He is soft and couldnt hit a target to save his life, we have way too many ordinary kicks in the side as it is. In this dream team obsessed footy today, we are far to concerned with stats. The same with hit outs, if they don't go to advantage its like a turnover.
Scotland has been a great servant but he should have retired last year. For those watching closely last year he made way too many mistakes. I would rather have kept Laidler, but the great MM didn't think he was good enough. He walked into the powerful Sydney side but couldn't get a game with us. You stubborn old fool MM.
Still don't know why they havnt fixed Casbolts kicking style, he drops the ball from too high, why cant the skills coaches see that. He is an outstanding contested mark but wastes it with poor kicking.
Just for a change I would like to see us put pressure on the opposition. I hate giving up these little 15 metre passes. Put pressure on the guy with the ball and force him to kick to a contest, stop giving up the little pressure relieving passes. find your man and stand next to him.
I would expect to have an easy win this week, Melbourne coudnt have come at a better time. Please don't make Menzel the sub.

I seriously hope we don't play the kids.
Imagine being exposed to the game style if this stupid old man .
It could ruin some handy players.
100% agree with this. Gibbs came to Carlton as the best attacking midfielder in the land and Pago turned him into a back pocket

Well done young Bucks.
On a side note, Carlton would have to be the least nominated club for The Rising Star. From memory I think Yaz has been nominated. Off the top of my head I cant think of another player who has been nominated. Great Recruiting Hughes
Here's a list ---> http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php?page=Rising+Star+Nominees
Thanks for that, but I meant since Yaz I cant think of another player. Your list shows Gartlett, so I missed one
