Hated Fraser pre-mid-80s and then loved him for his humanitarian efforts after that. RIP.

Agree - thankfully did a "Wittgenstein" and saw the error of his earlier ways.

Performed one of the great mongrel acts in Aussie political history... ably enabled by a supreme turd - Kerr. Over the remainder of his life turned it around 180. Transcended politics and became a great statesman and humanitarian... held Howard and other 'far right' clowns to account along the way as well.

His strong and credible voice for decency will be missed.
