Jim Park Voting: Round 22: Carlton vs. GWS August 29, 2015, 07:19:04 pm This week's debacle feels nothing like last week's surprise. We were decent in the 1st half, but very ordinary after half time.Nichevo. The first half, at least, deserves attention and some players even deserve votes.Remember:[1] At least 3 players need to get a mention.[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player.[3] Give a rating of team performance. It can be anywhere from A+ to F. [4] Votes must add up to 15. My apologies for being slow in getting last week's votes up. It was a busy week and my head was pretty screwed up (not to mention my foot ). I will get the votes up shortly. My wife can't complain about the time I spend on the computer at the moment: it is about the only thing I can do. I'll put in my votes when I've finished watching the game. Quote Selected

Re: Jim Park Voting: Round 22: Carlton vs. GWS Reply #7 – August 30, 2015, 12:13:13 pm Team: DIn the first half we were actually quite reasonable. We managed to stifle GWS’s run and put enough pressure on to have their kicks going at less than 50 %.After the break we were hopeless, with far too many players offering nothing.Votes:[4] Cripps[3] Curnow[2] Bell[2] Buckley[1] Dick[1] Docherty[1] Simpson[1] TuohyExplanations:[4] Cripps: Got tagged hard and still managed 30 possessions. His stats were phenomenal.[3] Curnow: Got a lot of the ball and managed to keep his opponent down.[2] Bell: Tried hard, kicked a wonderful goals and really showed he cared out there.[2] Buckley: Particularly good early, he wasn’t embarrassed after half time with his pace and dash.[1] Dick: Quite reasonable. Did a solid job.[1] Docherty: made a few mistakes, but really tried hard.[1] Simpson: Typical Simmo.[1] Tuohy: Gave a good, solid effort and kept his opponents under pressure.Honourable Mentions:Jamo: His 1st half was excellent. Not sure what happened to him afterwards, but he fell out of the game.Rowe: His first half was also top quality. Between Jamo and Rowe their key forwards didn’t have a goal at half time and had 4 kicks between them.Walker: Didn’t get down there much after half time, but he did look dangerous.Kreuzer: Much better after half time.
