RIP Peter Sarstedt

Those of you of a certain age will remember "Where do you go to my lovely?"  It certainly brings back memories of interesting times in my life.

Singer-songwriter Peter Sarsted passed away at the age of 75.

RIP

I remember him but was not really a fan. His brother was Eden Kane (still with us I think) who I was not a fan of either.

Sad news though. RIP.

I have very fond memories of a group of us travelling in a Kombi while the driver (who later managed INXS) sang alternate, raunchier lyrics for the duration of the trip :)

Sarstedt was one of those "Soundtrack of your life" singers....even if you weren't a fan, hearing the music reminds you of a time in your life or the place you were living at the time when his music was being played regularly.
