Kayo

Hey guys. Has anyone had any issues with renewing their Kayo subscription?
Just tried to renew mine for the new season and I’m only being offered the $35 2 screen option when I have only ever needed the $25 option in the past. That option is still available so I get the feeling I’m about to be ripped off? Thoughts?

I think they try and upsell you everytime its time for renewal.
I vaguely remember seeing similar for myself in the past.

If you're happy with what you have, change it back.

I did hear that they are supposed to be doing another price increase soon, but not sure how true that is.

Yes, we have also seen weird offers and changes since the Hubble change, people should feel dissatisfaction, price is rising but it feels like the product is diminished.

I reactivated yesterday and had no trouble choosing the 25 dollar option.

2 screen 4k option is increasing to $40 on the 4th of March

Thanks Lods and K for your input. Have you heard of AFL digital membership? That’s what Kayo is saying I must upgrade to. I have never heard of of it before now.

Carlton have a digital club membership which includes kayo basic for 12 months for $350.
You just have to work if you want Kayo all year round or just for footy season

Thanks Brick. Just confirmed that Kayo will restructure plans and pricing on 4 Mar. I will wait and see what they are offering. 🙄

Think the AFL membership is an 'in-season' membership - aka 6 months or whatever it works out to be.

I reckon the plans will all be going up March 4, so might be best off securing BEFORE then to avoid this.

Thanks K. That thought belatedly occurred to me so I had another look. This time I was directed to Hubbl which was aware of my Kayo subscription and allowed me to renew my $25 plan!  Very confusing but I at least got there in the end. It looks like there will be 2 plans available. Basic @ $25 and Premium @ $40, as from Mar 4.
