Oh wait, charlie has gone back?

Where was that the last 2 weeks when we were getting smashed with no momentum

4 points, luck on our side, a somewhat unconvincing win and injury concerns. Very bittersweet IMO. A tough physical game, and a 5 day turnaround before we play Port next Friday.

We just did enough and not too much more

What a relief. We were certainly challenged by a very good young side

They certainly just turned up for a jog around the park. Pressure rating hit 240 for a while in the 3rd qtr then it was through the motions.

What sh$ts me is we were never "a good young side"... We stank and then we cobbled together enough decent players to be ok.... But we need to strike now because I fear our window is very narrow because there is nothing comping through under the senior group.
DrE is no more... you ok with that harmonica man?

Agree, Pies had nothing young and upcoming Daicos kids excepted but managed to keep the team together and won a premiership but now it's facing a rebuild of sorts. We are younger but need to build depth for the future and be like Geelong  and a contender every season.
