Jim Park Voting 2025 AFL Rd 22 Carlton vs Gold Coast

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

AFL Rd 22:   Carlton vs Gold Coast
Team:   C
We lost, but I didn’t expect us to win with half our team unavailable. We fought hard without much reward for 3 quarters, but had a real dip in the last. We embarrassed Gold Coast, who had most of their list available.

Votes:
[2.5]   Ollie Hollands
[2.5]   Francis Evans
[2]   Patrick Cripps
[2]   Harry McKay
[2]   Cooper Lord
[1.5]   Lachie Cowan
[1]   George Hewett
[0.5]   Adam Saad
[0.5]   Blake Acres
[0.5]   Zac Williams

Explanations:
[2.5]   Ollie Hollands:      Ollie was pretty good tonight. He ran hard, won some crucial one on ones, and got the ball more than any other Blue. He was leading possession getter on the ground for 3.5 quarters. His kicking needs work, as that was the weakest part of the game tonight, but his desire was his strongest part.
[2.5]   Francis Evans:   His best game for us by some margin, Frankie didn’t just kick goals, he ran and chased, he had tackles and clearances and his passes to teammates were brilliant. Congratulations! Please, play like that next week!
[2]   Patrick Cripps:      Quiet early, Crippa really lifted. He had 27 possessions, 8 tackles and 4 clearances.
[2]   Harry McKay:      If we could deliver the ball like Gold Coast did, H would have kicked 8! His ruckwork was good, he took contested marks, and he kicked well.
[2]   Cooper Lord:      Lord did a job on Anderson and was a crucial part in our late surge.
[1.5]   Lachie Cowan:   Lachie started strongly and finished strongly and continued to work had all night. 22 possessions from defence.
[1]   George Hewett:   Not the 200th he might want, but George was still a contributor, with 23 possessions, 6 tackles and 7 clearances.
[0.5]   Adam Saad:      There were times when Saady looked past it tonight, but then there were times when he was brilliant.
[0.5]   Blake Acres:      Not a huge night, but Acres really did some inspirational things and was instrumental in our late resurgence.
[0.5]   Zac Williams:      Not kicking enough goals, but he was vital, especially when we were struggling.

Honourable Mentions:
Jacob Weitering:   Beat Read. Doesn’t look 100%, but still did a good job.
Jesse Motlop:      I almost gave Motlop a vote for his last quarter heroics; he really lifted, and things started to happen for him.
Tom de Koning:   Beaten but not bowed. Tom tried hard against a very good opponent and should have got 11 or 12 frees for shepherding in the ruck.
Ashton Moir:      He looked dangerous, and he worked hard. That bodes well.
