Simpson is starting to drop off this year.

Backwards football costs us again.
Ignorance is bliss.

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

It's certain players that are letting the team down with either effort or skill.

Yarran is awful. Just a shadow of his former self.

Oh, he's been shocking.  But, why are kicking backwards against this mob.  Did Barker do no research?  I mean Simpson dropped the mark, but why was it being kicked to him, why isn't anyone making a lead up forward?!?!

How do you instill  such a bad pattern of play , we have the ball on the wing so the first thing we do is look backwards and kick there?  And yet again we are caught out , cannot understand this thought process

Simpson has put everything on his line.  Like bignic, we need 22 of him.

Ohhhh Cyril, what a tackle.... Only ripped part of his head off...  This is a joke.   We know they are a super team, but do they really need the extra 3 on the field??

All of a sudden reality hits, maybe it wasn't all Malthouse's fault after all.

The club clearly has several cancers, yet unfortunatly lacks the ability to excise more than one at a time. Don't worry, we'll get there.

I don't think the players have any more confidence in our forwards than we do , seems that way at least

How many times have Hawthorn kicked backwards?

Tutt is deadset the softest player I have ever seen.

He is a spud.  Gets plenty of the ball but has no idea what to do with it and came make decisions under pressure.  His first game for the Bullies where he kicked, what three goals with three kicks, was his best game.  Peaked too early.  I mean, he want for a goal in the second when he should have had the awareness to pass off.  But he has the intelligence of a pea.

We are deplorable but it's not through lack of trying. This is what Shane Rogers has left us with and while I have faith in SOS, he might be a bit optimistic saying this will be a 66 game rebuild.

Having said that, the umpiring is an. absolute. disgrace. Honey moon period is over for John Barker.

(love Holman using a Hawthorn "spoil" against them) :))

They have got there ruckmen resting up forward. Why can't we do the same.

Simple, Barker in an interview pointed out all the deficiencies this team has got, and I thought that my opinion of him not being good enough to coach, was off the mark.
Tonights coaching performance proves that within the actual game, he has got no idea what to do.

We know the game is gone, but we  are making moves on this forum, that any decent coach would at least attempt.

But why is their confidence shot?  They've been competitive in the last few weeks.

Holman is a shining light.

Cripps has played his heart out.

Curnow has left it on the ground.

Everett has tried.

Kruezer has tried.

Simpson has made mistakes but he has tried.

Murphy has had 21 possies but had bugger all impact.

My thoughts exactly - they are in a holding pattern, and have nothing to lose. Nobody is expecting anything of them, so why not just go for it ?
