I've never liked this idea that you can just turn intensity on or off. There's an arrogance inherent in that. The game was going south as soon as the teams were announced.

The counter argument is that you can't maintain the level of intensity and pressure for an extended period.
At some stage that takes both a mental and physical toll.
Given we have a few players missing I'm more than comfortable with this result.
They have everything to play for.

The old "you shouldn't flirt with form" is just a cliche like "one week at a time".
We'll be a different side in two weeks time.
