6 of the top 7 possession getters were Coburg players, and 9 of the top 12. That is just not good enough! Not enough pressure, not enough run, not enough effort, not enough desire!

Lemmey: 5 possessions! Not good enough!
Ashton Moir: 7 possessions and not a single score! Not good enough!
That sort of effort is just not acceptable at this level.

We had a lot of players down today. O'Keefe was the only one to do something of note.
Lemmey has done alot more when played in defence. Need to go more down that path.

Harry Dean is now touted a probable first round pick... Dean and OFarrell as young intercepting talls will replace Haynes and McGovern in 2-3 years as tea leaves has it.

Jack Ison and Tyson Gresham are in the Vic Metro squad. Ison has been known to be a top talent for years and Tyson Gresham played well for Vic Metro v Young guns.

Ever since Cook became our CEO his MO is to bring many kids through to the club and it started in the 2022 draft with Hollands, Cowan and Binns... so this philosophy has few years to play out before we see it bearing fruit - meaning 2022 draft class have just completed their third pre season.
