Let’s look more Closely at our senior players letting us down - McGs stupid errors cost us goals, Acres has been terrible, Charlie and Harry have done nothing much, Doch has been missing!

Some of Our senior players just do not set a standard consistently enough,

We've had a 6-day break and had to travel, and lost a couple players from last week. Game off a big win last week.
Crows have had an 8-day break and are playing at home. They are coming off a bad loss with something to prove.

Lets not throw all the toys out of the cot without looking at some of the facts.

Yes it sucks.

No we don't have to sack the coach and half the playing list.

On to next week.

this still doesn't explain our bad manning up where our opponent has 3 talls yet somehow weitering is chasing smalls out of forward 50.

We've failed structurally today which is of greater concern than a short break.

We've had a mare.  Everyone is entitled to a couple a year.  This is our second after having a mare for 3 quarters against Richmond.

Did we touch the football?  

Clearly a small forward issue.

I'm not saying the reason we lost was a 6-day break.
I'm saying there is a lot of contributing factors, not least of which was our own effort/performance.

I'm just saying, it was a bit of a perfect storm and as you said, these things happen sometimes.

Hopefully, we've got all of our bad juju out of the way in 1 game and move on with life.
