We have played a terrible half of footy.
Yet, we are only 5 goals down.

We know we can turn things around rather quickly, albeit we haven't seen it much lately, but we are not out of this game.
A spray at half time and we may see a different Carlton after half time.

Hawks see us as done, we've rolled over.
We might be able to get the jump on them early in the 3rd and then who knows.

what a collection of mentally and physically weak players this list has.

even our bigger bodies crumble woth physical contact.

add in a coach who has no clue on systems structures and players that cannot hot a target and unfortunately only a complete clean out is the inly option as this collection is not getting it done . EOS.

Coaches and players don't get amnesia. Voss is the same coach and the list is mostly the same as our recent good run. The whole joint is low on confidence, and no new coach or list clean-out is going to change that.

I'm expecting a loss.
I tipped a loss.
I won't be surprised if its a 10-goal loss.

But......we are schizophrenic bunch who sometimes remember how to play footy. When and where we flick that switch or what triggers it? Well thats anybody's guess. But they do have it in them....sometimes.

TBH, thats even more frustrating because we know they can do it.....they just......don't.
Will they tonight??

ok so just keep doing the same thing and anchor your self to the bottom of the ladder for the next decade.

this list produced one good half of a season thats it. and even those wins were very lucky and ciuld have gone either way.

we did nothing to improve and went backwards all while out oppostion continued to add pieces and got better.

we need to stop looking at that one season as a reason why the list and coach are still capable

they clearly are not.

We are being out-hustled and out-muscled.
Reality always wins in the end.

we have beaten noone except Geelong of note in the last 18 months.

we are no hope mate in this one at all.

We have turned over more executives, more Presidents, more players, more coaches, more football department staff than any other club in the last 25 years. Because every time we hit some turbulence, the angry irrational hordes demand that "We have to do something. We can't just do nothing." And so here we are.

If Blake Acres and Mark Pittonet are your leading possession getters, then (for different reasons) you're probably in a bit of strife. :(

Our tackles just don't stick.
Too many light frames.

We have been 'no hope' in plenty of games we end up winning. Thats the point. We don't know what we are going to get or we don't know when we are going to get it.

Look through every pre-game thread and in every thread there is a sack the coach, sack the players, sack the board......

and then in the odd one you get the same exact thing and then you get a "oh we won." at the end of it.

You don't know when you'll get it.

Go back 2 years.

We were down 6 goals to GC around 1/4 time.
We ended up winning that, and the next 10 weeks or whatever it was.
Noody saw that coming then.

Lets not forget there is 6 teams behind us on the ladder write now.
As bad as we've been, there's plenty worse.

true there is. but i thought the whole
idea of this never ending rebuild was to win a flag not be looking positively when we sit 6 off the wooden spoon

Regardless on what happens from here. I think we've proven a couple of things.

1. Our season is not over.
2. We can mix it with the best.
3. We are still improving.

is this a joke.

we are 4 wins in the last 10 months. enough. they are coming off a 5 day break.

no more excuses

This continued with back and forth for a bit.
Its from the Geelong game.
