They had close to a full side for mine, those players missing dont make up a 76 pt deficit in my opinion.
Not really, for the last half of the last quarter they basically had no rotations, which was a contributing factor to the blow out.

But in fairness to us the damage was already done early in the 2nd half, we kept up the pressure early in the 3rd when most were expressing doubts about our ability to maintain the pressure and contain the Lions for 4-qtrs.

It's never as good as it seems.
It's never as bad as it seems.

We had a good win. But lets not engrave our names on the cup just yet.
Lose to the saints next week and its unlikely we will play finals.

Brisbane were under manned in defense too.  They played hipwood as a defender out of necessity.   P I t Gardiner in and wonder how it changes.

Still a fantastic effort.

Bloody oath. Didn't we have blokes called Weitering and Newman missing from our backline ;) Just a bit of experience between those two.

There were a good number of times Brisvegas got on their bikes and almost got their game going... but... we didn't let them get going. We were mentally tougher. We pushed right back, and then some.
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17

I think Brisbane are probably asking the same thing, they were good early but we were relentless. Injuries didn’t help them but they were never catching us after that 3rd quarter.
The Ox is slow but I'm running out of patience.

Their coach seemed to know it was coming based on his presser. They just weren't good enough on the night, it happens.

Nobody saw that coming,   but I think it's something that's been building into this team transformation over the last 10 - 11 weeks.    The team has been doing things and playing in a way the Voss was unable to generate.  Fraser brings a 'softer' manner, style, approach and flexibility,  the players begin to start enjoying their football again,   start to regain confidence,  play with more freedom through rejigged game plans / ball movement / move a few magnets around / blood some more youth ,  and suddenly we are seeing a group that is playing with far more confidence,  skill levels and overall team spirit.
If Fraser can get the team to repeat this in at least 2 of the next 3 weeks then CFC will get him to sign on the dotted line.
