Happy to see SPS get a bit of it... go and get the ball son, we didn't draft you to tackle. Reckon he has been building up after a slow start, easily his best game for the year.

Dow also looked really sharp last night... also agree it was his best game. Stood out in the slippery conditions.

The answer to the question is..there must have been a reason.

Mitchell does get a lot of cheap low impact possessions... of course if you get 46 of them it starts to have a lot of impact.

So i think there is a thought that you are better off stopping Smith, and maybe going head to head with Mitchell. Mitchell did have 43 possessions (not sure if he was tagged, but Fagan was coaching) last week and they lost.

That might be ok if you have some midfield depth... but we don't.

Mitchell has to get 30+ to have an impact, so make him scrap for them.

He's going to take a game by the scruff in the very near future and kick a bag.

I think he might actually be ahead of Kouta at the same stage... Kouta did take a few years to emerge.

Curnow's last two weeks (and watching him live yesterday)... his potential is completely off the charts. Absolute joy to watch.
