Assuming his numbers are right, he does have a point. He is a Swans great, a member of their Team Of The Century, and a commentator of some repute. You hope he would know.
Yes. There's a sizeable body of work recently that suggests we won't be blown away, and we are a real chance to win every game. But the Swans are a pretty tall order at the moment IMO.
Swans are firing on all cylinders at the moment. Leaving aside I. Zucchini, they have plenty of stars going through that midfield, the highest %, highest points for and lowest against. They will be our toughest opponent to date. I can't see a win to be honest.
I was off the site for several months, so not aware of any changes that may have occurred in that time. There was discussion a little while ago about Spanner not being able to look after the site any longer. Has this issue been resolved ? Has anyone taken over his role ?
Hopefully the travelling for Sydney this week (to Perth) plus 1 less day to recover will give us an edge. There seems to be very little separating the top teams at the moment.
Not sure where exactly to put this. For those interested in something a little lighthearted, a chat between Tracey McKay and Jackie De Koning, mums of the McKay and De Koning boys.
Fantastic effort, but in the end we were saved by the bell. Boys were gassed, and Melbourne lived in our D50 in the last 10 minutes or so. Another few minutes and I'm sure they would've rolled us.
It seems a plausible reason IMO. From what I can tell, Voss is not a Teague / Ratten type coach. He doesn't appear to enjoy shoot out footy. Certainly he seemed pretty grumpy about the high scores we have been conceding recently, especially the Geelong game. There are a few plausible options for the sub, and you have to roll the dice and pick one.
