Re: R23 - Carlton v Essendon (Before the Game Bash-up) Reply #75 – August 29, 2014, 09:07:26 pm Don't mind the Armfield and Watson selections. They were terrific last week given the circumstances. Armfield had an ordinary year but had a great one last year, his best, when he was one of the first picked. Playing well, he adds pace, run, grunt and tacking pressure. This year added nothing, injuries not helping, but last week was great in a awful side, and deserves another go on that. Really worked damn hard. Watson we just needed to see up forward in the seniors. Should've tried it after Henderson got injured. Would've liked to see Cripps instead of McLean though.

Re: R23 - Carlton v Essendon (Before the Game Bash-up) Reply #82 – August 30, 2014, 01:50:23 pm Watson is contracted for next year. IF, and it's a huge IF he can make it as a forward, then Waite can go with my blessings to North.
Re: R23 - Carlton v Essendon (Before the Game Bash-up) Reply #83 – August 30, 2014, 01:55:45 pm Yarran can't hit a target with those little passes of his. That's the difference between a good player and a very good player.
