Sorry, but we've two and at times three 200cm marking targets inside F50, and despite fast entries with one on ones not a contested mark from 17 entries except for as BT describes "the broken SpecialK!"
200cm types are useless if all they do is take marks on the lead!

We are an unwatchable rabble. If we lose this and it appears highly likely, Bolton needs to gone by Monday morning.other than playing this zoned garbage which hasn’t worked for 4 years, I’m at a loss to know what his game plan is.
As far as the overpaid hacks who masquerade as footballers representing a once proud club, to paraphrase Warnie, They can’t kick to advantage, they can’t handball to a player not under pressure, they can’t stick a tackle, and they totally lack the desire and will to win.
The problems are endemic and won’t be fixed overnight but a new coach with a new direction would be a start.

Not watching, only listening, but do we have AFl standard players? Fasolo 2 poss to half time, and the guy playing on him has 16 with 5 marks and is BOG. Kennedy 4 poss, in weather that should suit him. Lang 5 poss, not sure there are any conditions that suit him. We have too many who do nothing

Our midfield is sh1thouse.
Apart from Cripps not one other player is afl standand.
Fisher, Kennedy, Lang and Dow - are they playing? setterfield - not even vfl standard.
Reckon apart from Cripps only weitering get a game in the top 4 team. And maybe Harry.
That’s it.
As stupid as this probably sounds we look as though we need a major clean out and full rebuild.

Of course, you still need to factor in some wet weather football practice at some stage. Turn the sprinklers on if you need to.

My advice, not that they would listen, is Bolton gone Monday.
Barker to coach next week the last round before the bye.
See if Scott wants to coach and if yes, then give him the job to start with the first game after the bye. Let him meet the players next week and spend the two- three weeks getting to know them personally and to introduce them to his game plan.
I’m sure he has watched them enough to know a lot about their abilities. This gives him the rest of the season to work with them and hopefully improve them so that he and they and the club as a whole get a brand new start next year for what I would hope would be a better year.
Will the board accept that they have got the wrong bloke coaching them, I’m not holding my breath.
I said this in previous posts and I’ll say it one more time. I knew we were stuffed in the first quarter against Richmond when our coach couldn’t get our players fired up enough to run out in front of 85,000, represent our club with pride, give our 60,000 members some hope, and score at least one goal in the first quarter.
Yes we have put in a few nice efforts and should have beaten Gold Coast but McGovern wandering away from the goal square which cost us the game, is symptomatic of the lack of discipline and the coaches inability to have the players in tune with their responsibilities in a situation such as that one.
To those who say that all some of us do is complain and what is the alternative, at the risk of repetition, here we go.
Bolton gone. Director of football Judd gone. Most of not all the assistant coaches, gone. Appoint Scott. Give him free reign to appoint who he wants in the hope that they can reach the players the necessary skills required of a professional footballer.
If players like Dow who lacks kicking skills and Fisher and Cunningham and others who can’t stick a tackle can’t improve, trade them.
And this would only be a start.
We supporters who help pay the players salaries need to see value for money.
If we don’t, and the club make no effort to improve the rubbish that we have been subjected to for far too long, then they can say goodby to 20, 000 of those members next year,
As John Kennedy once famously said “ do something “ !!!

I don’t give a stuff who does the coaching for the one game. Pick anyone. His was a name of a coach that I know works there. You want Dale Amos, pick him. I don’t care. It’s for hopefully one week.

However through continuous speculation, someone from the club (Trigg? Liddle? MLG?) came out and said he has security of a payout so no need to extend his contract etc.

This has been coming for a long time, shuffled players out, what we have bought in has been ugly, players seemed lost, & disinterested, lack of game plan, cant see any other way but replace the coach. Not the best option, but with so much of the season still to go we might be able to salvage something

Fasolo has very little talent , does not have adequate speed and is close to dwarf size. Gibbons only has slightly better speed and a slight bit more ability. That adds up to 2 forward positions that are always going to lose. And therefore so will the team.

I have already turned off, just cannot be bothered watching it any further. This is players that simply will not work on their skills, continually make poor decisions which then affects the confidence of the group. You blame the coaching staff all you like, but the players must take ownership for this, why have they not improved? Time and time again it was just lazy poor football, perhaps incentive based contracts are needed, players they don't pressure don't play. You earn a lower amount, and if players want to leave because of that we do not want them anyway.

SOS has looked the best in terms of recruiting for years, so to say we won't improve - have a look at our past drafts! It is development, or lack of that has been the continual problem at Carlton for years. Why haven't we won the VFL premiership at least? That at least builds some winning culture and allows players to develop in a successful unit. They won't get that playing seniors.
