Northern Blues vs. Footscray at Footscray on Sunday

Not as inconvenient as some of the games this season, the game is set at Footscray starting at midday. That should give enough time to anyone lucky enough to get to this game to schlumf into Etihad. Alas, I will not be there - guests for easter.

Whitten Oval is a fair Shlep for me (and Mrs Baggers wants to have a day at the footy as well, provided I take her out for a lovely dinner after the Dishlickers game at Etihad

). But seeing as the NBs game is a midday game I think we'll get in both for the first time in ages.

What is a schlumf... great word?

I only noticed this a moment or 2 ago.

Coburg's hone ground, the Conurg City Oval, has a new name for sponsorship purposes, 'Piranha Park'. Not the worst name going around? Yes, you are thinking of carnivorous little fishes with attitude.
However, in Brasilian Portuguese, a'piranha' is also the word for 'PROSTITUTE'. 'Prostitute Park' doesn't quite have the same ring to it....

When there is finally a round dedicated to Sex Workers thanking them for their contribution to the sport at least we know where they will have it.
