Absolute schmizen. Fug!! That screwing Timber Yard kicks the winning goal too. screw off!!!!

Worst display of umpiring I've ever seen. Total BS. Think of all the shyte that went against us and look at the final margin. Disguster!

Agreed.  There was far worse than that in the last that should have been paid.  The Waite push in the back was insane.  And then there's the worst ball up in history that ends up in a farcical goal.  Right there is the football game.

Why didn't we milk the clock and slow it down, stay man-on-man and squeeze them into oblivion ??

They are showing the Menzel head-high now on the TV, another disgraceful decision.

Gibbs BOG and plays like an A grader but Selwood steals the glory ,...hard to take,,,brave effort but the couple of passengers we had probab;ly cost us the game.

The whole thing has ruined my long weekend.  No freaking justice.  And the thing is no one - at least on Foxtel - are talking about the awful umpiring.  Campbell will rest on his laurels.

Yep !!  But that is one of many for the night....

If your name ends in Waite, the umps don't give you anything, but 50's and frees against.

But it's a game of inches.  Geelong just know how to win those games by managing to be in the right position at the fall of the ball.  Cue the recruiting vs. development debate.

Once again, lost count of the number of times we turned an attacking move into an easy goal for them via turnovers. McLean's smothered handpass most glaring. If that ball popped over the top we were away. Instead ... Geelong goal.  Brock turned it over a few times tonight but wasn't Pat Malone.

Still gobsmacked that Garlett can get a game.  Someone called him a good "opportunistic" footballer in another thread.  Surely that's the most derogatory adjective in today's game. Can't win his own ball - reduced to feeding on scraps like a seagull.  Basically a parasite which may do well on weakened clubs but can't survive against strong, disciplined teams.

And there's David King in the War Room not mentioning the umpiring but saying that it was the leadership group that win it for the Cats.  Yeah there's truth in that.  McLean not covering Selwood was terrible.  But it's not even half the story.
