Rd 13 Votes, Jim Park Medal, Carlton vs. Hawthorn

It is time to show some appreciation for out boys after last night's loss. We were not far away, for all that we lost by 28 points.

Team:   C+
We were very brave, but we just lacked the bit of class that could have got us over the line. having Jamo and Hendo pull out before the game really hurt us as well.

Explanations:
[2.5]   Carrazzo:   Great game from Carrots, holding his opponents down and getting a lot of the ball himself. Opposition mids beware, Carrots is back.
[2.5]   Gibbs:   Not quite as dominant as last week, but with more clearances than anyone else on the ground and a sterling effort to a losing ruck, he was pretty good.
[2.5]   Judd:   My God, we have missed this man. Until he ran out of puff, he was the best on ground with a brilliant effort in the middle.
[1.5]   Murphy:   Patchy, but really stood up. made more mistakes than usual, but ran hard and showed guts.
[1.5]   Casboult:   Good marks and good kicking: not seen together before in this guy.
[1.5]   Robinson:   An excellent game with a game high number of tackles and 3 goals. Each one of those tackles really floored his man.
[1]   Rowe:   Good effort. Beat Roughead on the night.
[1]   Walker:   Strong effort from Walker at both ends, but his kicking....
[0.5]   White:   Good, steady job in defence.
[0.5]   Simpson:   Not as dominant as he can be, but he worked hard and did a lot of decent things.

Honourable Mentions:
Yarran:   Almost vote worthy with his long runs and attack on the ball. However, he was a bit loose at times, as his opponents got goals.
Menzel:   Must work on his set shots and the rest of his game is improving.
McLean:   Not as good as he has been, but a honest gutsy effort all the same.
Tuohy:   Not yet back to form, but he did do better than he has and kept his opponents pretty quiet.
Warnock:   Tried manfully in the ruck and held his own around the ground, but beaten on the night.
