The fact that the MC considers Slug to be in our best 22 is precisely the problem. He is in our best 22 because we have no depth, no one else to take his place. Whether he's a good player, whether he would get a game anywhere else, is irrelevant.

No amount of playing kids etc. will change that. He's not great, but there's not much else.

Ellard brought good defensive pressure.

Along with Mick's other 21 taggers, but it shouldn't save him because he has failed two games in a row and kids in the NBs are playing OK.

How was dinner last night? Just thought I'd ask......

Went to Maccaroni Trattoria Italiana in the city. Cramped, wait staff had soem issues but food was pretty great thanks. Yours?

So outstanding that he keep Watson to 36 possessions, otherwise it would have been 46.

Ellard had Shannon Hurn on toast against West Coast.

Was another honest effort yesterday. Did okay.

You don't drop blokes doing the right things just because.
