I agree. Gets his chance on a smaller player.

If he could repeat that performance that's fine but I don't think he has it in him. For example if he was to play forward I would rather give Watto another crack at it TBH.

Thats like saying last start he was a winner, but i dont think he has it in him so lets not run him.  ???

I think his versatility, and overall attitude, makes him an important best 22 player. He alone may not win you a game, but if there were more players like him, you would win more games.

Your golden child is injured, so lets give that a rest for a while.

Nah he's been named for the two hasn't he?

Either way, he is a very average footballer in my books and I've been watching him for a long time. Has played three decent games I can think of in six or seven years, the Martin game this year, kicked four against the lowly Saints last year and beat Hurley in a scum game back in 2011. That's where it ends.
Ignorance is bliss.

I agree, but he's probably as good as any alternatives.
We've won three games and it's no aberration, or down to a wild spate of injuries, on any given day we've got more than one or two average footballers in our senior side.
The only thing in this world worth more than a hill of beans is the Carlton Football Club.

The Bulldogs are probably about where we'd like to be in around 12 months time.
As such they're a bit ahead of us in terms of development.
I'd love a win, but I'd be happy if we can get within 3 or 4 goals of them.

You could be right Lods, but that means that they have leapfrogged us or we went backwards  ::)

I remain convinced that we are not as bad as our ladder position suggests and I reckon we'll get a win tonight.

Was at the open training session yesterday.

Kruezer and simmo were not there.

Was a very laid back session. A lot of joking around. Some
Goal kicking practice at the end of session in which oddly they spent time attempting Torps from angles at goal.

Most missed.

Woulda thought it's better to spend any spare time on proper goal kicking but anyway didn't look like a serious session.

Also saw simmo in casuals grabbing a coffee with White at the blues shop after training. Looked sick and not right to me.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is a late change tonight.

Go blues.
