Narendra Modi just gave Taco a decent serve about falsely taking credit for the India-Pakistan ceasefire.  Taco has been claiming that his trade overtures led to the ceasefire but, according Indian foreign secretary Vikram Misri, Modi told the Toddler in Chief during a 35-minute call that there was no US mediation, no trade-based incentive, and no discussion of American involvement at any level.  Modi explained that Pakistan requested a ceasefire through existing military communication channels after sustaining significant damage to nine air bases.

Taco has now modified his language from "I stopped the war between Pakistan and India." to "[I'm] so happy that two smart people ... decided not to keep going with that war ... That could have been a nuclear war. Those are two nuclear powers, big ones, big, big nuclear powers, and they decided that".

And, while I'm at it, how about his brand new gold smartphone and phone service?

You too can have a USD169 Chinese smartphone for USD499.  MAGA will be all over it  ;D

Made in Chimerica!

If the delivery address states USA, it qualifies as Made in America! ;)

I was chatting to some colleagues about his apparent random behaviour, when one of them chimed in with a interesting hypothesis.

It's not random, it appears to be a behaviour of a person who's already had half a dose of Novichok, and knows if he makes the wrong decision Part B is coming via express delivery.

Have you ever seen him open a door?

I have seen him walk into a wall  ::)

I have also seen him attempt to walk out of an executive order announcement without signing the order.  I have also seen him fall asleep during a meeting with the Saudis, then walk away from the document he was supposed to sign.  One of the Saudis led him back as you would lead a toddler or an elder with dementia.

As if we didn't already know, it's becoming increasingly clear over the last week that there is a 'real' world and a ;fantasy' land where the brain of the POTUS lives.

Well, based on his current actions, you'd now have to assume RedTrump is a guilty as sin in regards to Epstein and Maxwell. He's basically taking preemptive revenge on anyone who has a chance of investigating the case in any detail, he's even sacked some of his own people for failing to have the case shutdown.

Making things opaque are not the actions of the innocent man! :o

Quite possibly, during the pending civil case, it will be the one and only time in my entire life I will barrack for Rupert Murdoch! :o

Imagine if the Murdoch press, Fox, etc., etc., start highlighting all Trump's bullsh1t.

What's that saying about laying down or getting into bed with the wrong types ................?

Maybe this is what Putin has on RedTrump, the classic honey trap! ;)

If true that Ghislaine Maxwell must be jumpy, no matter how vehemently she claims she knows nothing and won't answer the questions, neither side, RedTrump or Putin, will risk her talking and destroying what they hold in secret!

The Scots certainly have a way with words.  One of many signs at the protests said, “May yer arse break out in boils! Ya scunner.”

Boils under a nappy: ouch!

Twiggy Forrest has decided there is no future in being Green with Trumps lack of support for any alternative energy innovation and pulled the plug on plans to build Hydrogen facilities in the USA as well as in Qld which means he will be paying back his Aus Government subsidy. Woodside also pulled the plug on its Hydrogen venture in Oklahoma because of Trumps policies or lack of...
Trump's rhetoric and policies have emboldened companies to scale back on green energy initiatives, according to Earth.Org, you look at BP who have also pulled the plug on several big projects and while they denied Trump was the reason Im inclined to agree with Earth.Org and suggest Trumps policies will affect their bottom line and they will be looking after that first rather than trying to pursue cleaner energy alternatives.

It's not a matter companies being emboldened to scale back on green energy initiatives.  It's a direct and inevitable economic response to GOP deciding to end clean energy initiatives.  They have basically pulled the pin on 67 green hydrogen projects that were planned for the next five years, with a total investment of $26B.  That investment will go elsewhere and some possibly our way.

Interestingly, two of the three States that are leading the way with hydrogen generation are red: Texas and Louisiana.

If the green energy was cheaper and more efficient, then it would get in.

Forget the grandstanding about funding, its incentivisation to save dollars, or a bribe to go green.

Either way, it shouldn't be necessary if the numbers add up.  If the numbers don't stack up, odds are they will also be flawed from an ecological perspective too and cost benefit analysis is including bullcrape that makes no difference to which way you go.
