Taco went off on another rant about "acing" the Montreal Cognitive Assessment during his meeting with the Finnish President.

Bearing in mind that the creator of the assessment, neurologist Dr Ziad Nasreddine, has stressed that the test “is supposed to be easy for someone who has no cognitive impairment”, and explaining that “this is not an IQ test or the level of how a person is extremely skilled or not. The test is supposed to help physicians detect early signs of Alzheimer’s.”

Apart from his obsession with wanting to be seen as intelligent and getting way off topic during a meeting with another head of state., the concerning thing is Taco's claim that the last five questions are “very hard”.  As Dr Nasreddine, explained, the questions are supposed to be easy and the idea that the bloke in charge of half the world's nuclear weapons found them to be very hard is unsettling to say the least.

Previous recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize include Henry Kissinger and Barack Obama. A joke of an award if ever there was one.

Save yourself Norway and Nobel Committee.
We will understand.

I think the 'worthy' recipients kind of outweigh the less worthy by some margin...and all have made a significant achievement in the year they won it.
Whatever his motives, and we can guess at those being of a self centred nature, Trump's involvement has helped this process to this point.
But I'm not sure it will be enough for him to be rewarded.
And I'm more dubious of a lasting peace once the hostages are released.

I suggest  Maria doesn't get on a Venezuelan boat for the next little bit.

"Machado is receiving the Nobel Peace Prize first and foremost for her efforts to advance democracy in Venezuela," the committee said. "But democracy is also in retreat internationally. Democracy -- understood as the right to freely express one’s opinion, to cast one’s vote and to be represented in elective government -- is the foundation of peace both within countries and between countries."

Well, that’s a decent smack in the mouth for Taco.
