VFL Rd 2: Northern Blues vs. Geelong

Northern Blues take on Geelong this week at the cattery at 1900 hours on Friday Night.
I'm not sure how deep their list is, but our last quarter fade out and generally ordinary skills don't leave me with a huge amount of confidence.

The NB 2nds play their opening game against Casey at Casey on Saturday at 1200 midday. I am more confident about this one, as there should be a few Carlton listed players available to play.

Someone said there may be a live stream of this game.
You can fool some of the people some of the time.......................................

WTF... we play Friday night after a Sunday arvo game, what MENSA graduate came up with that schedule?

I guess we'll see if our fitness is as ordinary as we think it is.

A fair few Carlton boys named there, and we appear to have a large defence with a bit of experience in it (first time for everything). With Wood not named, it is all up to Korchek and Gorringe.

Decided to go. Great mark and goal to Jaksch but Geelong is sh1tting on us now. 4 in a goal. 25-6. Jones started well. Actually a couple of good marks using his body. A first. Better than his mad, uncontrolled jumps at packs.

Qtr time 25-7. Jaksch and Jones impressive. Team, not so good. Defence did very well to hold them to 4 goals.

Words cannot describe how small Bolton is. He took the forwards aside and spoke to them in a teaching fashion, which was good.
