Not enough talent on the field. Simple enough. It looks like NONE of the Emergencies are playing, and neither is Cameron Wood. Our midfield is not looking strong and the effects are obvious.
We've been more than a bit stiff with the lack of goals, but 10 scores to 30 says a lot in itself.

on paper looking at opposition should be doing better. need to remove the last Collingwood plant

Silvagni is off for the day. He only played a half and had a few shots. At least 2 of his kicks were touched through. He is icing his leg where he was injured, I assume as a precaution.

The Blues get their first goal: Dyson Stevens may have picked a poor day to debut, but he managed to get one through the big sticks!

We are 110 points down in the 3rd quarter. And we thought last week was bad.
Apparently Jaksch is doing well in defence. Probably a good thing he isn't in the forward line: it doesn't get down there.

The guys on BF reckon that there are only 3 Blues out there today who look like they may be AFL players: Silvagni was one of them.

Buckley got the ball out of middle and had a shot: which took a leg break in the square to go through for a point. Does that sound like our sort of day?

Boekhorst reads the breeze and hoofs a LONG goal. Our 2nd! Wunderbar!

Took them about 10 seconds to replay. They get the ball out of the middle and we do not.

I started to reply and found that there was nothing positive to say.

But then Kerbatieh bounces a goal through and the crowd erupts....? Well, Kerbatieh got the goal. Don't think many Blues' supporters will be erupting.

This has sure changed from the really great performance I saw at Geelong. They looked so good there in most departments.
