I agree - it does sound good. The problem is, you have to be too flexible with the original acronym. SOS obviously stands for Son Of Serge. If you call him J-SOS, then it's Jack, Son Of Serge, which makes me feel squidgy, not to mention the fact that it leaves the door open for opposition supporters to make inferences that I'd rather not know about.

SOS is son of Serge - if you adhere correctly to the original acronym, J-SOS becomes Jack, Son of Serge.
