Not sure why the rumour was only half right, was all through the sports departments at 4pm. Interesting to see if Macreadie plays today.Apparently it was announced on a radio station well before I posted Quote Selected Last Edit: July 15, 2017, 08:15:41 am by LP
Re: Rd 17: pre Game Prognostications: Carlton vs Western Bulldogs Reply #93 – July 15, 2017, 12:10:37 pm We seem a bit top heavy down back. Footscray have three tall forwards unavailable so essentially only have Stringer and Redpath yet we are playing Jones, Weitering and Alex Silvagni, and Plowman can also play tall. I would have liked to see another mobile bloke in like Armfield, or McKay instead of Alex Silvagni to give them something to think about in our front half. Jones will get Stringer and Weitering Redpath I'd guess. Quote Selected
Re: Rd 17: pre Game Prognostications: Carlton vs Western Bulldogs Reply #94 – July 15, 2017, 05:47:57 pm Cuningham is definitely out with a hip injury. he was replaced on the bench yesterday. However, neither Sumner nor Smedts played today. Macreadie did play and was more than OK. However, he would not be promoted on his performance. Quote Selected

Gotta play someone there.Weitering is better than are alternatives. Quote Selected

He's a 10 year key defender who we can build our defence around, why distract him by playing him out of position when we'll finish bottom three anyway? Quote Selected

I like the idea of Marchbank, Plowman, Docherty, Macreadie and Williamson working around them at ground level or pushing forward as I think they are more creative. Quote Selected
