Anyway, form is temporary, class is permanent. He'll be a good player for us for the next 10 years or more. Hopefully the class returns soon! Quote Selected

Re: Rd 17: In Game Emotional Outbursts: Carlton vs Western Bulldogs Reply #28 – July 16, 2017, 03:55:09 pm Not sure how much with weitering is confidence, and how much of it is just lack of experience with structures.A lot of his pre-season work was done with the forwards. Perhaps he's a bit out of his depth and feeling out of place in the backline at the moment. He wouldn't have played with Jones/Silvagni/Buckley in the back line before. Quote Selected

Their goals were all due to our errors, thats a good sign. We must must must stick tackles agains this mob. They do seem to have a lot of time with the ball in their hand and able to find handballs with what seems like ease.Defensive structure looks good as usual. Not sure why we are not going to Cas/Curnow more in on our treks forward because they both started very strongly. The kick from (was it Fisher?) across the face instead of going long seems especially errant.I think we can play better, yet we have a lead so that is the positive. The downside is of course the dogs can play a fair bit better than that also.Let's see what we can do this quarter? Quote Selected
