When Holman beats Cripps one on one on our goal line you know you are in for a crap day!

Games like this makes even the most optimistic supporter wonder have we improved at all.

No system, terrible ball skills, can’t even do the basics at home against a team many predicated would be bottom 2.

I dunno anymore. Round 2 and faith is nearly gone again!  :-[

Weitering is a liability out there. What to do with him!!!

Sheesh you'd be tempted to put Jones up forward changing in the ruck with Casboult... Just need another tall target up forward to help Charlie, we're getting it in there enough... statistically we should be a few goals up, which suggests if we stick at it we should get back into the game.
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17

Many of us questioned the match ups. As much as I want our selectors to get it right. This looks like a repeat of last week. It pains me to say that it also looks like we're being outcoached  :-[

C'mon blues wrestle back the game you showed r1 - q1....

Any one know how Jack went in the NB's ? He will have a team mate in Weitering there next week. 1 touch for the half when you have been slaughtered and the ball is in our back line . Coaching problem here some where. But no confidence needs a run in the NB's

Seems McKay went alright with the NBs. Couple of goals and a couple of assists and 13 touches. What were they thinking with Kreuzer out. SOS got 3 as well.

I'm scratching my head as well, with Casboult rucking most of the day we are down a marking target up forward, even if McKay wasn't holding them he'd at least bring them to ground.
Hopefully today is the last time we see the Weitering as a forward party trick.
Petrevski-Seton, Fisher, Charlie Curnow and Cunningham all going OK so at least some of our youngsters haven't thrown in the towel, but our field kicking is as bad as I've seen it for years.
We're making GC look like a smooth outfit.
The only thing in this world worth more than a hill of beans is the Carlton Football Club.

Weitering shouldn't be up forward.

Lynch has only two marks for his 6 goals which means playing Jones on him to spoil his marking isn't the problem. If Lynch has 4 of his 6 from ground balls, Jones and Casboult aren't the right players to be standing him.

We need some sticky patches on our shorts so we can get hold of the ball! ;D

We must show something in the 2nd half.

Surely we are better then this crap we are displaying.

Sick and tired of excuses. Leaders need a massive second half.

Simple as that.

Luckily GC played in heavy conditions last week, they'll run out of legs!

Selectors stuffed up big time. Sun's are getting prime Sandilands like service.
Hitouts are 34 to 12.

Hard to believe but we're winning more of the ball - disposals are 202 to 168 with both teams on 66% efficiency. Thought we have been much worse.

Efficiency inside 50 - we're 25% to their 57%

Today is one of those days when we are just simply sh1t users of the ball. We're getting our hands on it often enough. Check the stats. But skill wise, it's just a dirty day all round. Started behind the 8 ball with dubious selections. And Krooz and Kennedy are clearly more important than we thought.

Blokes saying selection cost us are not watching what I am.

Enough of the excuses.

Our skills are woeful. Our spread is non existent. Gameplan looks like malthouse era.

Actually clearances at half time are equal. The big issue is no help for Levi and seeing he is rucking there's no key forward outside if C.Curnow, who'd you'd like to have some runs in the midfield. If you have no target you you tend to find other ways and get yourself lost.

If Phillips played we'd only be complaining that he's doing nothing around the ground. Mckay would run around and take a few grabs. You can also rove to the opposition. Freo lose the clearances most times with Sandilands as it's predictable.

It's not just disposal either. How many marks have we dropped or hand handpasses fumbled?
