Re: In Game Action: 2019 AFL Rd 6: Carlton vs Hawthorn in Launceston Reply #90 – April 28, 2019, 05:21:35 pm Totally dropped their bundle. No manning up, no checks on O'Meara and just woeful tactics, completely foreign to what we did less than 40 minutes ago when we were walking off well in front. Quote Selected

Re: In Game Action: 2019 AFL Rd 6: Carlton vs Hawthorn in Launceston Reply #93 – April 28, 2019, 05:23:44 pm This is where Hawthorn's experience will win over youthful exuberance. For them, 28, 19, 20 and 22 didnt strike a blow for 2 qtrs. All of a sudden... Quote Selected
Re: In Game Action: 2019 AFL Rd 6: Carlton vs Hawthorn in Launceston Reply #94 – April 28, 2019, 05:25:08 pm Win lose or draw, that quarter was a perfect example of Bolton's stubbornness and total lack of a plan B.Omeara is their best player, had a million possessions. Why not get Curnow to tag him. Say to curnow, I don't care if you don't get a kick, as long as he doesn't get one. But why would that stubborn goose Bolton do that.Secondly, you can see what's happening. they are breaking everywhere. only one way to stop it. Play man on man. but no. bolton just lets it all flow and hopes for the best.I have said all along that the can't coach. He's got some very good players to work with, but he will cost us dearly in the long run. He is the weakest soft c**k we have. Disgusting quarter. I know his old but obvious that quarter we still need Simmo big time. Quote Selected

When the chances come, you gotta take them. I'm looking at you Murphy, forty out, you have to kick them. We've fallen away noticeably as special K has run out of gas. Quote Selected

We are without a doubt one of the worst Carlton tackling sides I have ever seen.Fisher can't tackle at all. Murphy won't tackle because he's scared he'll do a shoulder, and the list goes on. Why kick a drop punt which may have had a chance at a vgoal, when you can do a ridiculous kick which does nothing.Murphy is gone. He runs around a lot, looking for the cheap ball, and 60% of the time when he gets it, he does a stupid weak kick which invariably misses a target. Quote Selected
