Business-like is a good way of summing her up. In AFL terms, I reckon she’s like Joel Selwood. She can talk well, but obviously would prefer to avoid doing so. She’s all about team: she talks about “We did this or that” including her support team rather than talking about herself. She’s serious and determined. She’s basically the opposite of Kyrgios in every way.

41 years is a long time to wait .... at least it's not a williams sister.  She's "uncluttered".  Believe she deserves it as well

All tennis crowds cheer for another set.

Great performance. But I wonder why someone who is so freakishly blessed with hand/eye coordination doesn’t have a topspin backhand. Maybe her ability to win without one emphasises what a competitor she is.

I can see a new uncirculated carded 50 cent coin coming with the Wimbledon ladies plate as the central piece.  The RAM know how to cash in on anything commercial.

Not a big fan of tennis in general but I don't mind watching closely matched top seeds as long as there is little grunting.

From what I can see the Aust Open is following the global pandemic trend and greatly favouring players who have had the better run-in preparation regardless of seeding.

The pandemic seems to be the great leveller!
