VFL 2019 Rd 16: Northern Blues vs Williamstown

This was originally going to be elsewhere, but it is now on Sunday at Preston at 1300.

Kerr out injured.

Our midfield still looking thin.

The side does look a little stronger this week, but the midfield is still the issue. Anderson did a good job last week and Fasolo did time in the middle, but we don't have real mids to deal with our ruck 'dominance'. Stocker is a good 'in'.
Owies was emergency for the seniors last week, yet is on the bench this week in the VFL! For that matter, Cottrell was last week after being Emergency for the seniors. Kiss of Death?

Looks like Deluca is replacing Dow, who is ill. So a bare midfield becomes almost empty.

Stocker didn't play at all in the first quarter, he's on managed game time. So 10 possessions in the second quarter, not bad

Fasolo has been good since in the weeks he has moved to the midfield. Seems a different player.
