I wouldn't have dropped Dow - Deluca, Lang are more deserving and I thought that Dow, whilst not a heavy possession game last week, contested very well & has some x factor.

WIth McGovern, Dow, Cunnigham, Curnow, Jones all out  we're looking very slow across the ground. Harder bodies in, but no pace.

I'm not saying we can't win, but to expect anyone to think we should win is a bit far fetched.

Eagles are favourites, and should be. EOS.

I'm crossing my fingers as much as the next bloke, but i'm not optimistic.

I'm a Dow fan but he has lost his way and is having trouble finding the ball on top of his kicking issues, like his pace and burst ability but I cant justify him getting a game
at the moment. He needs a couple of good ones in the NB's to rebuild his confidence.
I like Deluca too, knows his way around a footy oval but needs an AFL preseason, Lang doesnt do it for me and even though he has been better I dont see much
to get excited about. Cuningham is a loss as he kicks goals and gives us some zip and opportunistic skills, he is just one of those players who will
never play a long sequence of games and you just hope he is fit when the important games are on.
McGovern can play but we have looked more mobile and dangerous with Kennedy down forward IMO.

Dow has been ordinary - sometimes worse than ordinary - ALL year.

Should have been dropped circa Rd 5. Bad, bad player management.
Finals, then 4 in a row!
