In Game Anxiety: AFL 2021 Rd 12: Carlton vs. West Coast

When I was young, I always had confidence that our team would come back from almost any adversity. I wouldn't stress out when we were behind, because our players believed in themselves and would respond.

Alas, those days are gone and we are but a shadow of what we were. Instead of faith, I have hope. But hope is often dashed. But I keep going.
Now that may be a character fault of mine, but there it is. But now I stress through games, whether we're in front or not. And I stay that way until the final siren. Hence the title. But, in the end, I'm still there, cheering our team on.

Hopefully this week will be the time when the players start to believe in themselves again and strike a blow for the right!

This ground looks like a cow paddock in the close ups, very choppy.

Probably had more games on it in a short space of time than its had for years. Not used to it.

Maybe just tweak a few of those positions and it will look a lot better on paper.
I'm just worried Teague will play too many players out of position and give them a start we can't come back from.

Nic Nat is capable of winning the game off his own back, not many other on the team you could say the same for. Draw level with Nic Nat and play tight on Darling and we should have this, but it will come down to our entry inside 50 and our conversion on the scoreboard.

Give our forwards good ball and we SHOULD be ok.
Not a great start.

That was the other thing i said. Convert and we should be ok.

3.0 to 0.3 tells the story early on.

Change that now and we'll be ok. Let that trend continue and we're screwed.
