The end of the 3rd and 4th felt a little like hanging on for dear life. Even listening on the wireless it was apparent the boys really gave their all. Well done lads.2 wins out of 3 this weekend. Re: Post Game Passion: AFL 2021 Rd 15: Carlton vs Adelaide Reply #5 – June 27, 2021, 07:06:25 pm Did our best to lose it but the usual suspects in Weitering, Jones and Ed Curnow held us together in the last quarter.Like TDK's game in the ruck...didnt take flashy marks but worked hard in the ruck contests...Dow also played his best game IMO....nothing flashy but good steady football and minimized his errors. Not a great game standard wise but very enthralling to the end and very satisfying to get the win, I expected us to win wellbut a grinding win can often be more what benefits the team and I hope we can back up again next week and grind another win vs Freo. PS..The Crows Fogarty needs a clip around the ear...... Quote Selected Last Edit: June 27, 2021, 07:13:46 pm by ElwoodBlues1 2 Likes
Re: Post Game Passion: AFL 2021 Rd 15: Carlton vs Adelaide Reply #6 – June 27, 2021, 07:06:34 pm A flawless q2 set us up well. Unfortunately kicking 5pts in q4 almost saw us torn down. Although it was accuracy not effort that was the issue. That's new! Just enough is good enough and a Win is a Win🥳Hopefully it delivers the confidence boost we need. Quote Selected 1 Likes

Re: Post Game Passion: AFL 2021 Rd 15: Carlton vs Adelaide Reply #9 – June 27, 2021, 07:11:19 pm What do we need to do in order to get a fair run from the umps? The Cripps holding call, the Curnow decision, I don't even know what they called after he tackled a bloke and he threw it out, the Walsh 'sling' which was one single motion. I feel like the club needs to say something it's beyond a joke. Quote Selected 3 Likes

Cracked in, burst lines, delivered passes, kicked a big running goal. Loved it. Quote Selected 3 Likes
