Very convincing and authoritative 2nd quarter. The end of the 3rd and 4th felt a little like hanging on for dear life. Even listening on the wireless it was apparent the boys really gave their all. Well done lads.

2 wins out of 3 this weekend.

Did our best to lose it but the usual suspects in Weitering, Jones and Ed Curnow held us together in the last quarter.
Like TDK's game in the ruck...didnt take flashy marks but worked hard in the ruck contests...
Dow also played his best game IMO....nothing flashy but good steady football and minimized his errors.
Not a great game standard wise but very enthralling to the end and very satisfying to get the win, I expected us to win well
but a grinding win can often be more what benefits the team and I hope we can back up again next week and grind another win vs Freo.
PS..The Crows Fogarty needs a clip around the ear......

A flawless q2 set us up well. Unfortunately kicking 5pts in q4 almost saw us torn down. Although it was accuracy not effort that was the issue. That's new!

What do we need to do in order to get a fair run from the umps? The Cripps holding call, the Curnow decision, I don't even know what they called after he tackled a bloke and he threw it out, the Walsh 'sling' which was one single motion. I feel like the club  needs to say something it's beyond a joke.

Just keep firing him up and playing him, especially on the ball. Cracked in, burst lines, delivered passes, kicked a big running goal. Loved it.

A couple of the whipping boys came good today…. Paddy Dow, Zac Williams, Jack Martín, Matt Kennedy, SPS.  When our stars align, we are a good team.

Martin has all the talent but just lets himself down by going missing or getting lazy at the wrong times.
When he touches the ball and is on song though he is a A grade player, just need to find what it is that prevents him from
being more consistent.

His first few full seasons at GC were remarkable - and he was consistent.
