Re: AFL Rd 1 2022 In Game Angst Reply #30 – March 17, 2022, 08:46:11 pm Regardless of tonight’s result you can finally see that on every line we have talent that just needs to gel as a group and we could be a very strong team. Positive is we have had nothing from Charlie not Harry goals wise yet we are still up. Feel quietly confident in this one. Be massive to start the season with a win Quote Selected 1 Likes

Re: AFL Rd 1 2022 In Game Angst Reply #33 – March 17, 2022, 08:51:53 pm LOB was pretty impressive flying across the front of a pack inside 50 for the Tigers to spoil. Not what you'd expect from him. Quote Selected

Re: AFL Rd 1 2022 In Game Angst Reply #35 – March 17, 2022, 08:56:54 pm My biggest aggravation in footy: Lynch pushes Weets in the back to push him under the ball and no free kick. As I've said before, contact should only be allowed from a player attempting a mark or a spoil (and spoil does not mean pushing someone out). THis is the nonsense the "protect your space" interpretation wrought. The person who had the space was Weitering. You can't create space by pushing people in the back. Quote Selected

Re: AFL Rd 1 2022 In Game Angst Reply #41 – March 17, 2022, 09:03:06 pm Balta monstering McDonald now. McDonald doesn't stop a tall getting in front of him and can't reach the ball to spoil it. We might as well play Plowman as the extra height isn't working for McDonald. Quote Selected
Re: AFL Rd 1 2022 In Game Angst Reply #42 – March 17, 2022, 09:04:17 pm Time to play Charlie up the ground a bit more to get the ball in his hands.Play him on the wing ala Waite if you like. His long penetration inside 50 will clear a lot of the defenders and harry will always bring the ball down to ground. Quote Selected
