Jim Park Voting 2025 AFL Rd 4 Carlton vs Collingwood

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

We lost by 17 points to a contender while still playing some of our worst football. We certainly kept Collingwood to a losing score, but we’ve done that in all of our games. Pity we can’t kick a winning score.

Votes:
[3]   George Hewett
[2]   Ollie Hollands
[2]   Jacob Weitering
[2]   Jack Silvagni
[1]   Sam Walsh
[1]   Adam Saad
[1]   Sam Docherty
[1]   Blake Acres
[0.5]   Tom de Koning
[0.5]   Zac Williams
[0.5]   Cooper Lord
[0.5]   Adam Cerra

Explanations:
[3]   George Hewett:   Our best mid on the night. 29 disposals, 7 clearances and 6 tackles. Couldn’t have done much more.
[2]   Ollie Hollands:      21 disposals, 2 goals and a good job done.
[2]   Jacob Weitering:   A towering presence in defence.
[2]   Jack Silvagni:      Another excellent game negating the Collingwood forwards.
[1]   Sam Walsh:      A lot of ball, but not getting the results.
[1]   Adam Saad:      A solid game in defence.
[1]   Sam Docherty:   A lot of ball, but not the effectiveness we’re used to seeing.
[1]   Blake Acres:      A lot of ball, but not the effectiveness we’re used to seeing.
[0.5]   Tom de Koning:   His opponent was the opposition’s best player, but he still got a fair bit of ball.
[0.5]   Zac Williams:      A solid contribution.
[0.5]   Cooper Lord:      Not bad.
[0.5]   Adam Cerra:      Like most of our mids, Cerra got quite a lot of ball, but didn’t have the impact that we needed to get over the line. Still, he is getting the pill!

Honourable Mentions:
Nick Haynes:         Not a bad game.
