Jim Park Voting 2025 Rd 9 Carlton vs St. Kilda

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

I'm a big wrap for the selfless players that did their job with aplomb this round

5. McKay - forward and ruck
4. Young - forward and defence
3. Cerra - midfield and defence
2. Hewett - sacrificed his game to tag McRae
1. Walsh - his two goal assists is a game high and were pearlers.

A great win in a game that our Midfield thrives in but doesn't really suit TDK or our F50 makeup. They tried to grind us into the ground so we would be uncompetitive on the outside at the end of the game, and it failed!

We beat Ross Lyon with his own game. Considering our injury issues, it was a damned good, really brave win.

Votes:
[2]   Patrick Cripps
[2]   Harry McKay
[1.5]   George Hewett
[1.5]   Jack Silvagni
[1.5]   Jacob Weitering
[1.5]   Nick Haynes
[1]   Tom de Koning
[1]   Jaxon Binns
[0.5]   Adam Saad
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow
[0.5]   Sam Walsh
[0.5]   Adam Cerra
[0.5]   Elijah Hollands
[0.5]   Ollie Hollands

Explanations:
[2]   Patrick Cripps:      Crippa wasn’t prominent early, but as the game wore on, he became more and more significant. 26 possessions, 10 tackles and 8 clearances.
[2]   Harry McKay:      The dominant forward on the ground, also probably playing his best game as a ruck: 19 possessions, 10 marks and 3 goals.
[1.5]   George Hewett:   Continuing his strong season with a great job on Macrae: 26 possessions, 4 tackles and 6 clearances.
[1.5]   Jack Silvagni:      Another great game in defence; 17 possessions and 11 marks.
[1.5]   Jacob Weitering:   Another great game in defence; 19 possessions and 14 marks.
[1.5]   Nick Haynes:      Really standing up; 17 possessions, 12 marks and almost got decapitated.
[1]   Tom de Koning:   A strong game from Tom, who didn’t get rag-dolled for a change. 21 possessions, 4 marks and 7 clearances.
[1]   Jaxon Binns:      His best game by some margin, even if it was all in the 2 quarters; 22 possessions, 1 goal, 2 tackles and 2 clearances.
[0.5]   Adam Saad:      A really solid game in defence; 20 possessions.
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow:   3 great goals and always dangerous. 12 possessions and 7 marks.
[0.5]   Sam Walsh:      Some really nice things: 21 possessions, 6 tackles and 3 clearances.
[0.5]   Adam Cerra:   Solid in the midfield and in defence: 18 possessions, 2 tackles and 5 clearances.
[0.5]   Elijah Hollands:   His disposal is like a scalpel: 17 possessions and 7 marks.
[0.5]   Ollie Hollands:      A good negative game.

Honourable Mentions:
Blake Acres:   For a guy who was struggling with injury, he did a great job.
Lewis Young:   Not a lot of possessions, but 2 important goals and some nice defensive work.
Cooper Lord:   Nice. His kicking at important times was excellent.

I'll leave this open for a little longer.
This is the first time for the year that we've had more voters than for the same game last year. So, keep voting!
