Jim Park Voting 2025 Rd 11 Carlton vs GWS

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

AFL Rd 11:   Carlton vs GWS
One of more disappointing performances we’ve produced, GWS always had our measure. We played their best players into form. Once upon a time, we used to kill form. Sounds like a fairy tale, but it wasn’t that long ago.
Team:   D+

Votes:
[2.5]   Patrick Cripps
[2.5]   Sam Docherty
[2.5]   Adam Cerra
[2]   Sam Walsh
[1.5]   Copper Lord
[1.5]   Nick Haynes
[0.5]   Harry McKay
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow
[0.5]   Lachie Fogarty
[0.5]   Tom de Koning
[0.5]   Ollie Hollands

Explanations:
[2.5]   Patrick Cripps:      25 possessions, 7 tackles and 8 clearances while being shadowed by one of the AFL’s best taggers, he tried his guts out.
[2.5]   Sam Docherty:   Easily his best game since his last knee op. Doc was calm and resolute and got 30 possessions. It wasn’t one of his great games, but nobody produced one of those.
[2.5]   Adam Cerra:      After a slow start, Cerra really came into his own; 6 tackles and 5 clearances.
[2]   Sam Walsh:      Very good in patches, Walsh ran all day.
[1.5]   Copper Lord:      Didn’t get the ball enough, but he did some really good things, making marks out of others’ miskicks and hitting targets when others couldn’t. 4 tackles and 4 clearances; this lad is part of the future.
[1.5]   Nick Haynes:      A very strong game against his former team.
[0.5]   Harry McKay:      H had periods of total dominance, especially in the ruck, but he failed to do what we needed from him most; kick goals.
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow:   Again, Charlie had his patches, especially early. His 1st quarter was brilliant. But then he fades. And we couldn’t kick it to him to save our lives. His body language was not good.
[0.5]   Lachie Fogarty:   Fog wasn’t brilliant, but he had his moments, and he managed 2 goals.
[0.5]   Tom de Koning:   Like a lot of our players, Tom had his time on top, especially early, but he couldn’t see through the game. 25 taps and 4 clearances wasn’t bad, but 1 mark is simply not good enough.
[0.5]   Ollie Hollands:      Ran hard and did a job. 6 tackles and 2 clearances.

Honourable Mentions:
Harry O’Farrell:   Like a lot of our guys, he started well before fading. However, he was the only defender to win almost every one-on-one he was involved in. He showed some great signs for the future and will be better for the run.
Matthew Carroll:   12 possessions, but did some nice things and provided some run.
Adam Saad:      Other teams have worked Saad out, but we continually give it to him.
Will White:   Not enough, but worked hard. Definitely a green shoot.
