Moir: 16 possessions and 11 handballs.
Binns: 16 possessions - not his usual game.

O'Farrell had 8 marks in defence. Bodes well.

Vickery and Charleson were also down today. Vickery had 10 possessions, while Charleson had 7. Still, their opponents did nothing.

The boys did very well in difficult conditions today and that was a good win in the end.

I thought that our talls were particularly solid and really put in when the game was on the line.  O'Farrell reads the game well and makes good decisions and I think that he's going to be a ripper.  Lemmey probably should have kicked another couple of goals but it was a good all round performance from him.

That was one of Moir's better games; nothing too flashy, just old-fashioned wet weather footy that created opportunities for his teammates.

Looking at the replay, our ball handling in the first quarter was awful. It led directly to Essendon goals. Once we sorted those problems, the Drug Cheat's key forwards were invisible. But 4 dropped chest marks in the defensive 50 was inexcusable.
