I recall David Parkin a few years back saying that in his many decades of VFL/AFL footy, skill execution by the players across every category had markedly improved.

Except goal kicking.

Lost by 11 points after dominating the last quarter.
George Hewett: 31 possessions, 8 clearances and 8 tackles.
Sam Docherty: 29 possessions and 16! marks.

Big last quarter and a bit from:
Patrick Cripps:  24 possessions, 5 clearances, 7 tackles.
Adam Cerra:  26 disposals, 3 clearances and 8 tackles.

But the damage was done in early in the game, when we couldn't score.

We kicked 5 goals 4 to nothing in the last quarter.

Jacob Weitering: 20 possessions, 3 tackles and 10 marks: not bad for a guy on one leg.

Doc stats might have looked good , but  the game has gone past him , he should be in the 2s  mentoring them

Probably should be, but who then gets 20+ possessions in defence? Hard to drop him on that performance, but he is looking past it at the moment.

this game we should have been  giving the campo's  a game  or billy wilson and lemmey  and leaving the doc in the 2s.
