VFL Rd 14 2025 Carlton vs Port Melbourne

We play Port Melbourne on Saturday night at their crappy ground, under the lights. We're on TV and might have Pitto available.
I hope we have Will Hayes available, as he provides so much experience and drive.
I think Flynn Riley will play: no Young for a 2nd ruck. Lemmey will be the key forward, so I hope he does more than last week.

I hope Riley plays.
Was quite impressed with him earlier in the year but he's been kept out by Pitto and HOK

[1] With only 1 ruckman named, I wouldn't be surprised to see Zac Harding play. He's been doing very well this year as an overager in the U18 competition.
[2] At least 1 named player will not play, they will be held over because we play on Friday night against the Meat Pies. Maybe Pitto?
[3] Will Hayes? I guess he's busy with the horses. A pity, as we need players like him.

Let's see if the 2's can do something to redeem a shocking weekend for the club.
We do score first, a point. Isn't that a surprise!

afl.com.au struggling; isn't updating. :(

Our basic ball skills are horrendous, can't hit basic targets by hand or foot, missing simple 5m handballs.

Being killed in the ruck. Riley not impressing so far.
Carlton: 3 taps
Port: 10
Not giving our mids much of a chance.

When you see weirdly stupid things like Pitto is doing it's a headspace issue, nothing at all to do with basic skills.

Someone has got into the headspace of our lot and screwed them right up, they have lost all confidence.
