Being killed in the ruck. Riley not impressing so far.
Carlton: 3 taps
Port: 10
Not giving our mids much of a chance.

Pitto not much better
Kuol Mun is a monster.

The Camporeale boys look like they are ready for AFL.  They are missing targets, dropping marks and missing set shots on goal.

FMD brilliant ball skills for a coast to coast goal. Very unCarlton-like...lol

Frank the Tank amongst our best...except when kicking for goal.
Harry Charleson seems to be playing more mid/forward tonight and not going too bad.
Edit-Charleson back in defence now

That first kick from Lucas, very early on, come of the foot beautifully, couldn't have come off the boot better, spearing pass like a rocket that hit the Port player right on the chest...lol.

Right now I'm looking for players that will actually try and have a go. I'll overlook kicking skills, only for the fact it can't get worse...lol.

Frankie Evans looks like he is a very good vfl player and is probably good on the track. Hasn't shown he is good enough at AFL level at three clubs.

I think it's been mostly Carroll and Cowan who a providing the drive for us to get back into the game, they look a class above VFL.

I had high hopes for Moir, but to me he looks basically the same as when he arrived and that is not a good sign in my opinion.

Some of Carlton VFL appear somewhat shy when it comes to laying effective tackles.

Perhaps a full on practice tackling session could also be the go for our seniors. (Then up the numbers against the Pies next week, making our tackles stick!). What about it Vossy?

Not a huge fan but has looked good and contested well. I think he is a bit more vigorous at VFL level than he has shown
in the AFL and needs to play like with that spice to his game if he gets promoted.
