Re: Jim Park Voting 2025 AFL Rd 18 Carlton vs Brisbane Reply #9 – July 20, 2025, 01:05:06 pm AFL Rd 18 2025 Carlton vs BrisbaneTeam: D-We weren’t bad in patches, but they got away from us with their system and their disposal. I didn’t like the lack of heart that was on display at times, but I loved the way we got around Pitto when he kicked his monster goal.Votes:[2.5] Patrick Cripps[2.5] George Hewett[2] Nick Haynes[2] Lachie Cowan[1] Marc Pittonet[1] Adam Cerra[1] Ollie Hollands[1] Sam Docherty[0.5] Harry O’Farrell[0.5] Jesse Motlop[0.5] Orazio Fantasia[0.5] Charlie CurnowExplanations:[2.5] Patrick Cripps: Tried his heart out.9 clearances, 6 tackles and 20+ possessions.[2.5] George Hewett: Hard to separate Cripps and Hewett; even their stats were similar. 9 clearances![2] Nick Haynes: Really solid these days. Loved his intercepting.[2] Lachie Cowan: An excellent game in defence.[1] Marc Pittonet: Took on Brisbane’s rucks and probably was slightly on top. His goal on quarter time was massive.[1] Adam Cerra: Not bad, but not as good as we really need against a midfield that bats as deep as Brisbane’s. 25 possessions, 2 clearances (not so good) and 5 tackles was decent.[1] Ollie Hollands: Loved Ollie’s run and carry.[1] Sam Docherty: Doc got plenty of the ball, but his lack of pace these days is telling.[0.5] Harry O’Farrell: Did a decent job. Looking to be the future.[0.5] Jesse Motlop: An ‘almost’ night for Jesse.[0.5] Orazio Fantasia: Good until injured. Showing more than others I could mention.[0.5] Charlie Curnow: 15 possessions and 6 marks just gets a mention, but had Charlie been able to kick straight, the game could have been more interesting.Honourable Mentions:Zac Williams: I tossed up with Williams and Curnow for the last (half) vote, and I went with Charlie, just. Zac wasn’t bad, he just wasn’t as good as he has been.Matthew Carroll; Quote Selected
