Can’t believe the carry on about two teammates have a laugh, would you rather they were looking for rope and a rafter ?

It's what they did in the 70's, 80's and 90's, which is why we were so successful. If they lost a game, then no sex, no food, no water, no fun, bed of nails, hessian sack cloths, lying prostrate, apologizing profusely and begging for forgiveness to any Carlton fans walking past, promising never to do it again.

Our issues are not down to a 3 second giggle between minor players, you can be quite certain of that.

With all the nonsense and 'rumours of nonsense' going around the club at the moment this game could get really ugly.
Some of the tensions may have been exposed, and that may reflect in the play.
Team selections will be interesting and we may start to rest up a few.

Freo have everything to play for...
Firstly they need to secure their final spot but they are also still a chance for top 4

Blues by 10 ;)  :D

If Cripps is injured then it will be Blues by 10 at quarter time and then Freo by 50 plus at games end.

7 reporting Curnow is out, Cerra in doubt

Curnow is apparently 'sore' but with his next game being his 150th it may be the case of missing the away game and playing that milestone game in front of a home crowd (Charlie's crew and all that)

If that is the case, and it's not genuinely an injury that prevents Charlie playing, it probably signals that the result doesn't have a lot of importance and we've pulled up a bit short of the finish line.

Could be a good old belting coming up in the wild west

Our medical/management care of players has been of dubious quality and when a  coach is placed under pressure for his job then there is a flow on effect with the coach probably wanting his best players on the park when in reality they shouldnt be playing imho.

You reckon we can convince docherty to go around again?  Not convinced the ins are any better than him.

Our line-up:

B:   42 Adam Saad   23 Jacob Weitering   32 Matthew Carroll
HB:   2 Lachlan Cowan   22 Harry O'Farrell   26 Nick Haynes
C:   13 Blake Acres   9 Patrick Cripps   36 Cooper Lord
HF:  6 Zac Williams   3 Jesse Motlop   4 Oliver Hollands
F:   8 Lachie Fogarty   10 Harry McKay   38 Will White
R: 12 Tom De Koning   29 George Hewett  43 Ashton Moir
Int:   27 Marc Pittonet   45 Flynn Young  33 Lewis Young   44 Francis Evans   19 Corey Durdin   25 Jaxon Binns   37 Jordan Boyd   40 Hudson O'Keeffe

Well, we really do have our VFL team out there. How many more will fall over in the next few weeks? When we play Essendon, there'll  be nobody left on either side to put on the field!

[1] How is Fog still getting a game? I can't remember the last time he kicked a goal. For that matter, I don't remember the last time he had 10+ possessions.
[2] Well, we've known for some time that Charlie was less than 100%, but having him out really makes our line-up look questionable (more questionable). Hope H can do a bit better this week.
[3] I hope Boyd plays. I'm not so confident in Binns or Durdin.
[4] HOK? It will be interesting to see if he plays as a forward, as we're missing talls. I wouldn't play him in the ruck against Freo's rucks.
Live Long and Prosper!

I want us to win for no other reason than not wanting to finish any lower and having to handover to Haw a lower 1st round draft pick. Having said that, I give us a snow balls chance in hell.

Freo by lots.
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time
2025-Carlton can win the 2025 AFL Premiership

That's a pity... for the VFL side.
Fully loaded, it probably has more interest than the senior side.

Finals are probably gone now for that group, but they probably could have put a decent side of eligible players on the field had they made it.
