Jim Park Voting 2025 AFL Rd 21 Carlton vs Fremantle

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

I couldn't spell for a moment there.

AFL Rd 21:   Carlton vs Fremantle
Team:   C-
For so much of this game we weren’t just in it, we dominated it. So disappointed to finish it the way we did. Our first half was brilliant, then we ran out of gas.

Votes:
[3.5]   Patrick Cripps
[3.5]   George Hewett
[1.5]   Cooper Lord
[1.5]   Nick Haynes
[1]   Francis Evans
[1]   Tom de Koning
[1]   Lachie Cowan
[1]   Zac William
[1]   Ollie Hollands

Explanations:
[3.5]   Patrick Cripps:      36 possessions, 9 tackles and 9 clearances: 4 great quarters!
[3.5]   George Hewett:   36 possessions, 6 tackles and 7 clearances: his first half was incredible. His last half not so.
[1.5]   Cooper Lord:      A strong outing, keeping Serong out of the game totally for 3 quarters.
[1.5]   Nick Haynes:      Really good in defence.
[1]   Francis Evans:   Looking more like a player. I didn’t expect to be giving Evans any votes this year, but like Haynes, he has improved considerably on an awful start.
[1]   Tom de Koning:   Tried hard and did OK in the ruck. Around the ground he was beaten.
[1]   Lachie Cowan:   Solid in defence.
[1]   Zac William:      Honest
[1]   Ollie Hollands:      Solid.

Honourable Mentions:
Lachie Fogarty: probably his most effective game for the season, but just doesn’t hurt the opposition enough.
Marc Pittonet:   Like Tom, he did pretty well in the ruck, but couldn’t contain the Freo rucks around the ground.
