AFL Rd 24 2025 Pre Game Prognostications Carlton vs Essendon

Another bl**dy Thursday night than I can't get to.
I'm very angry about this. But whether the AFL will give me any satisfaction on the topic is another matter.

In the last 20 odd seasons we have won two games by a point and had one draw in the last home and away game of a season.  Our record is not very good. This Thursday is a big opportunity to start turning that record around.

We'll miss Cooper Lord, who has been very good for us this year.
Not sure who comes in to replace him after today's schmozzle.

If his suspension is up I wonder whether they mightn't give Ben Camporeale a run just to give him a taste.

Should win easily vs the Dons, they went ok vs the negatively minded Saints but they are very undermanned especially down back and they have just too many kids in the team.

The only thing stopping us winning is ourselves, that is if our mindset is all about footy trips, holidays and for some moving onto greener and more lucrative pastures. They need to go in with a view to give it one more big effort, one more big push and get TDK a win for his 100th and last game in Navy.
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time
2025-Carlton can win the 2025 AFL Premiership

only one who has done the run with or "job" on a mid is Cincotta and if Im correct, he is ineligible due to a 5 day break right? White probably comes back in.

In a per centage boosting flogging, Baggers by 60 points!! Harry kicks 6, Frank the Tank a lazy 4 and Moir takes a mark of the Year contender. At the end of the day TDK announces he's signed a five year deal to stay blue and JSOS comes in from the cold and accepts our offer......
delusional or dead set??
I was there, Blight missed!!!

33.33% dead set, 66.67% delusional.

I'm pretty sure that it's five days between AFL games.  Players can and do play AFL and VFL on the same or next day.  Vossy did say that they held players back from the VFL game for Thursday night and Elijah Hollands was unlikely to be considered because he only had a five day break (there may be other reasons).

Hewett is an excellent run with midfielder who doesn't sacrifice his own game.  He's just not so prolific.  That might be a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul though.
It's still the Gulf of Mexico, Don Old!

I read something similar...not sure about the credibility. :D
Wouldn't be surprised to see Ben get a run.
