Vale Allan Moffat

Allan Moffat, a giant of Australian motorsport for many decades has left this world. A ferocious competitor but a gentlemen at the same time. The battles with Brocky were legendary.

Sad news indeed.

His Canadian origin, involvement in US car racing, and reserved manner didn't endear him to Australian fans as much as Brocky, but he was a driving machine, a hugely influential character in Australian motor sport, and a true gentleman.
