AFL 2026 Rd 13:   Carlton vs Essendon
Like the Richmond game, most of us were disappointed by the way we played against the Drug Cheats. However, they gave it their best shot, and they couldn't beat us when we were as flat as a tack. I am willing to give a little kudos, but not that much.

Trends:
[1]   There were 9 voters this round, which is more like what we get for a loss. Disappointing, especially when we've had 2 weeks to vote, but that was how we played.
please do vote, win, lose or draw: it is something we appreciate and it makes our statistics a lot more reliable. And our statistics hold up pretty well when it comes to John Nicholls Medal night!

[2]   The rating was a 8.07, which represents a C.
Our rating of the Richmond game, for example, was 7.69 which says far too much.

[3]   16 players managed a mention again this week.

[4]   The average vote this week was 26, which is very ordinary for a win!. Scores are around 30 when we win, so read into that what you will.

[5]   3 players managed 100 votes or more.

[6] Crippa didn't win this week, although he did get some votes. Harry McKay judged BOG this week, for the first time this year. he has certainly improved in the last few weeks. George Hewett managed 2nd, his first top 2 rating for the year. Harry Dean managed 3rd, his first top 3 finish.

[7]  One player managed votes from everyone this week; Harry McKay. Dean and Hewett missed from one voter.

[8]   We had a much more rounded distribution of votes this week, even though the values were generally low. Our recruits put their hands up, as did a youngsters and our experienced players (who have generally been down this year). Our defenders and mids got most of the votes as we still struggle to kick goals.

[9]   Harry Dean was our best youngster for the night, followed by Smith, Wilson and Byrne
